Shift working times
A shift can have only one break.
In the Shift definition, you define the working time before and after the shift as follows:
Working time:
3:00 PM - 6:30 PM
- break -
7:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Press the refresh button to automatically calculate the worked hours, or provide them manually if they are different from the automatic calculated value. If the Worked hours are more then fits in the specified working time, they can be reported as shift overtime (Salary & work setting!)
A correct break time is important for a correct calculation of the salary
If you dont want the break time to be shown in the FlexR calendar, you can use a calendar setting to hide it.
Night shifts
Shift working times can pass the day boundary, in case of a night shift for example, a shift starts in one day and ends in the next.
By default all worked hours from a night shift are calculated with the day the shift starts, but there is a "Salary & Work" setting to split the shift, in case it is on a period boundary, e.g. on the first or last day of the month.
