Sync with external (google) calendar

If you want to share your FlexR planning with your family or collegues, the easiest way to achieve this, is to sync your FlexR calendar with the external calendar of your choice (this can be any external calendar that shows up in the list of syncable calendars) amd share your external calendar with the persons your want to share it with.

Perform the following steps to sync your FlexR calendar to an external calendar:

- Open the Settings page of FlexR.
- Open the Extrernal Calendar Settings:
- Select the Calendar you want to sync to:
- Enable Write Sync:
- Answer the popup with "Yes" and wait until all FlexR Calendar events are synced to the external calendar, this can take some time.

From now on any changes made in the FlexR calendar will automatically be synced to the selected external (google) calendar.

In case of problems:

- Disable the Wite Calendar sync and let it remove all events from the external calendar.
- Reselect the reuired calendar (also if already selected!)
- Enable the Write Calendar sync again and let it sync all events again.

External Calendar Sync Options:

Select calendar

Select the external calendar you want to sync to.
--> only available when "Calendar write" is not enabled!

Calendar Suffix

Suffix to include in every external calendar event, to make it recognisable that it is your shift

External Calendar Alerts

Enable if you want alarts enabled in the external calendar if the shift has a notification set

Note in Title

Enable this option if you want to have the FlexR Note text in the title of the external calendar event i.s.o. in the default note field

Sync upward of date

All data from this date onward will be synced to the selected external calendar

Calendar write

Enable to automaticaly sync all FlexR calendar data into the selected external calendar

Calendar read

Enable if you also want to the the (Non- FlexR ) events from the external calendar inside the FlexR calendar.

Duplicate data

If things went wrong and you ended up with doubled entries in your external calendar, use this option to erase all duplicate FlexR events from the external calendar, but keep the good ones.
--> only available when "Calendar write" is not enabled!

External calendar cleanup

If things went wrong and you ended up with doubled entries in your external calendar, use this option to clear out the FlexR events from the external calendar.
--> only available when "Calendar write" is not enabled!

External calendar erase

If things went wrong and you ended up with a mess in your external calendar, use this option to erase ALL events from the selected external calendar, also non FlexR events!
--> only available when "Calendar write" is not enabled!
